Tim Illidge

Dr Illidge completing undergraduate degree in Biochemistry (BSc, London University, before his medical degree (MB BS) from Guy’s Hospital, London.  His PhD (University of Southampton) was in antibodies and radiotherapy combinations. In 1994 he was appointed a Cancer Research UK clinical fellow and in 1999 a CRUK senior clinical fellow / senior lecturer at University of Southampton. In 2004 he was appointed Professor of Targeted Therapy and Oncology at University of Manchester and leads the translational Targeted Therapy Group, Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute. The translational research programme is based around radiotherapy and immunotherapy combinations, funded by CRUK programme grant. He is currently Head of Division of Molecular and Clinical Cancer Sciences at the University of Manchester, Manchester Academic Health Sciences Centre.
